She still can’t crawl, although she seems to have the strength in all limbs needed the coordination is just not there, which is odd because she can snatch a mum mum off of a high chair table without batting an eye.
She’s either get it or skip crawling and go straight to walking.
Yesterday after waking up the first time she decided to sleep roughly 14 hours in various increments. One six-hour stretch was at night in her crib and only interrupted by ITMama going down to get her in the AM for cuddles.
She’s reached utterly grabby stage, so if you’ve got glasses, are holding a cell phone, or have something that a baby shouldn’t be in possession of, chances are she’s going to grab it with all of her might.
Her sleepathon followed a day of me having sleep oddness, so it may just be yet another bug from the infestation pit (daycare) that migrated this way. My oddness involved me waking up kind of tired and then being so tired about two hours later that I thought I was going to vomit if I had to stay awake any longer.
If that was it, she’s going to be over it today.
Other than that, she’s eating solid foods like crazy, we seem to be going through less formula than before as one container will now last a couple of weeks, and feeding time seems to be very much enjoyed.
We’re now playing with the Tiggly Shapes app about every day, but the shapes come out pretty often just for play. She’s still a fan of the Chica Show (and her Chica,) on Sprout but seems to not be interested in repeats, which is odd as she’s a baby and should not have much memory. There are like 40 episodes and we see the same six over and over.
She says “da da” quite a bit, and we’re pretty sure she thinks it means “that thing there that I am looking at right now… perhaps a cat”.
We’re still at a phase where every day is something interesting and new, and there’s a happy baby and alternately a sad mess of a miserable baby, and there’s not much warning between the two.
