This applies solely to the HALO SleepSacks sold from Babies R Us that were pink with a flower on them.
The petals on the flower can detach under baby assault and present a choking hazard.

One of the things this should teach manufacturers is that if they’re going to throw anything in for simple decoration, it better be able to stand up to a baby assault. I’ve now seen three things that hit close to home that are all about substandard decorations. Note to parent, if you can rip it off or it falls off in the dryer, it shouldn’t be anywhere near your baby.
Unfortunately the face of a choking hazard looks cute, but never underestimate your child’s free time to spend pulling at something until it breaks, snaps, falls off, and ends up in their mouth being chewed on. If you can remote it with a little force, they’re going to be able to remove it given time, spit, and determination.
